How does it work?
An international entertainment organisation wanted to inspire its engagement champions to think differently about how they approached their role and what added value they can bring to business during a time of economic downturn.
Our team developed a day of interaction, challenge and fun to release creativity and develop confidence. Releasing creativity is a lot about challenging the attitude we have to being creative in a work context. The day began by building a wall of brain blocks - things that get in the way. Whilst working in teams and using natural reflection spaces the group identified ways in which they are stifled in the working environment, tools and techniques that can be used to allay fears of getting it wrong and building confidence to make commitments to engage the workforce in a creative and inspiring way.
Outcomes
- An understanding of what blocks creativity
- Development of techniques to 'step out' and take action
- A desire to do things differently
- Identification of where else within the organisation
- Creativity can be actively encouraged
