A large service team located across a number of sites needed to redefine their direction, purpose and function.

Most of the teams felt disconnected from the vision and felt undervalued, overworked and there was significant conflict between different levels, job functions and the management team. The teams were apathetic to the idea of an 'away day' - they couldn't see the point as nothing they said before had been listened to and they had too much work to do!

Our team created a day to engage and inspire everyone. Time was taken to recognise the current feelings and atmosphere within the group whilst maintaining that taking responsibility and challenging current attitudes and behaviours would move everyone forward.

The teams looked at their values and attitudes - both existing and inspirational and decided between them what they needed to do differently. Activity break outs provided an environment to support looking at vision, function, purpose, values and client relationships.

An action planning session provided each group with the accountability to commit to what they were going to do differently - at every level. Cross functional teams were formed and new alliances developed.
